Christmas with Cats

As I sat down to write this post I was startled by a dull 'thunk' against the window. I glanced up to see the remains of a snowball stuck to the glass. A second snowy missile struck; my husband was pelting fresh fallen snow at me. We didn't get snow for Christmas, but for New Year's it's falling thick.

Barcelona Apartments

I loved the layered colors of this apartment building. With red brick, white stone and blue roof, it made a charming rainbow.

Pyrenees Countryside

I took this photo while driving through the Pyrenees mountains, on the border of Spain and France. We were on our way to Spain's national park, Ordesa y Mont Perdido, hailed as the Grand Canyon of Spain.

This stray was wandering around the Palace of Carlos V, by the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. He was a handsome little kid, with a short, crooked tail.

Las Ramblas

Las Ramblas is a wonderful street in Barcelona filled with vendors, tourists, and street performers. The costumes you will find here are nearly mind=boggling in their complexity.
