The delicate frost on a pine tree is beautiful. Freezing frost caused the trees to look like frosted christmas trees! So pretty.

I got lucky with this shot in the Golan Heights. I was taking a picture of the thistle plant and right as I pushed the shutter down te bumble bee flew into the frame! Perfect timing.

This is the side of an old train engine in Snoqualmie. It has been out in the elements for several years and the paint has long since come off and the engine itself begun to rust. It made an interesting pattern of color and textures.

At the park I feed ducks at there is a lovely goose couple. One of them has a lame foot, and her partner watches out for her and tries to help her get food before a younger and more agile duck grabs it.

Nope, it's not Daffy or Donald. There's a pond at a nearby park that has many many ducks living at it. I like to take bread down there and watch them flock over for a snack.

This charming squirrel came looking for a winter snack. He was very friendly, and not afraid of people at all. He kept coming closer and closer!
